Intemediate 1 Chemistry
The course consists of three units:
1) Chemistry in Action which includes the study of elements, compounds and mixtures, solutions, chemical reactions, bonding and acids and alkalis.
2) Everyday Chemistry which includes the study of metals, personal needs, fuels and plastics.
3) Chemstry and Life which includes the study of photosynthesis and respiration, the effect of chemicals on the growth of plants and food and diet.
