S1 Chemistry

S1 Chemistry

The course consists of the following:

1) Solvents and Solutions.
The main learning outcomes are heating, cooling and boiling and distinguishing between soluble and insoluble materials as well as separation of different substances using evaporation, filtration and distillation.

2) Particles
The main learning outcomes are the properties of solids, liquids and gases, what is meant by elements, the periodic table and the division into metals and non-metals.
